Minute by minute/ 50 days of protest and march, citizens standing up against the political oligarchy

Një protestuese e pranishme në ditën e 50-të të protestës qytetare para Kryeministrisë ka kërkuar hapjen e dosjeve të hetimeve dhe publikimin e çështjeve që, sipas saj, mbahen të mbyllura.

Gjatë fjalës së mbajtur para qytetarëve, ajo iu drejtua kryeministrit Edi Rama me akuza, duke kërkuar që të zbardhen dosjet e zyrtarëve të lartë.

“Kam dy-tre kërkesa për këtë krypis. Në radhë të parë, të marrin të hapin dosjet se i ka futur stivë nën tavolina. Të hapin dosjen e Ballukut, dosjen e vet, dosjen e të gjithëve me radhë. Të gjithëve, pa përjashtim”, u shpreh protestuesja.

Në vijim të fjalës së saj, ajo i bëri thirrje Ramës të largohet, duke përdorur tone të ashpra.

“Edhe një thirrje e kam: ik, mos na bëj të fusim duart në hale me ty, se nuk ia vlen. Je bërë i neveritshëm, je bërë egoist dhe të vjen era gjithkund”, deklaroi ajo.

Protesta qytetare para Kryeministrisë vijon prej 50 ditësh. Organizatorët dhe pjesëmarrësit kanë deklaruar se do të vazhdojnë mobilizimin e tyre, duke kërkuar ndryshime politike dhe duke shprehur kundërshtimin ndaj qeverisë.

"He listens to us. I have two words for the Prime Minister of Albania: Resign and hand over power to the youth. The government needs youth, not thieving communists ," the citizen said.

During his statement, the protester also shouted the slogan: "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison", an expression that has also been heard at previous rallies.

During the 50th civic rally, held this Sunday in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, one of the protesters gave a speech in harsh tones, declaring that the resistance will not stop until the government changes.

He stated that the protest will continue "until our new government is formed, for the new Albania," while making accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama and other political figures.

In his speech, the protester said that "we will form our own government," while claiming that after the change of power, the assets of several politicians will be seized, including Edi Rama, Sali Berisha, Shkëlzen Berisha, Argita Berisha and Belinda Balluku.

At the end of his speech, he also addressed the Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, saying that 'it will be this government that will surprise you'.

"This protest will last until our new government is formed, for the new Albania. I tell this scoundrel (Edi Rama) that he is a coward, a thief and a swindler. He tells us how we will do it."

I tell him that we will form our own government, we will seize you, Sali Berisha, Shkëlzen Berisha, Argita Berisha, Balluku, all you thieves who have robbed the country, and we will build a new Albania with your wealth.

"One more message to Ulsi Manja, it will be the government that will surprise you. We will show you, both the square and the courtyard," said the citizen.

One of the protesters who spoke at the 50th rally being held in front of the Prime Minister's Office reacted to the statement made by Serbian Minister Snežana Paunović, who told the media in Serbia that she would ethnically cleanse Kosovo.

The protester demanded that the Serbian minister be declared persona non grata in the Republic of Albania, while adding that the diplomacy of Tirana and Pristina should cooperate more.

"I was here last week and spoke here. I am proud of all these flags. I want to start with a denunciation of a Serbian minister who spoke about ethnic cleansing. I want to declare her persona non grata. I want Albanian diplomacy to be more active in international relations. We need to work more in this direction.

"I was in Kukes and they imposed a customs fee of 5 euros. That is a higher fee than in the US. We want to develop and go to the EU. Without the help of the US, we will never succeed. I will participate in the EU summit. God bless Albania ," he said.

On the 50th day of the anti-government protest, citizens have unfurled banners with strong messages against corruption, the government, and the political class, emphasizing that the protest will continue in the coming days.

In Skanderbeg Square, protesters held banners written in Albanian and English, through which they conveyed calls for change and reiterated their determination not to retreat.

"50 Days. We are still here. We are not leaving", "50 days, 50 days closer to change", "Day 50: Albania is not a private resort" and "You have reached the end!" were some of the messages that attracted attention during the protest.

Some banners also conveyed messages about the continuation of the resistance against corruption and demands for political change, while the protesters declared that their mobilization will continue until the demands they have made public for weeks are met.

The civic resistance continues even after 50 days of protest, while activists declare that the mobilization will not stop regardless of the circumstances. One of the activists stated that the fact that citizens continue to take to the streets even on the day of the World Cup final shows their determination to continue the cause.

According to him, the protesters will continue to remain on the streets until Prime Minister Edi Rama leaves office. He accused that various methods have been used to stop the protest, but according to him, the civic mobilization will continue.

The activist emphasized that according to the protesters, the end of this resistance is linked to the resignation of Prime Minister Rama and the fulfillment of their demands, including legal changes and the ban on projects that affect protected areas.

"We are protesting again after 50 days. Who would have thought that after 50 days we would still be here on the day of the World Cup final? We have been here from day 1 to prove to each other and the government that we are serious. We are with the same consistency and determination to show that we will not leave without the one who has taken refuge in the Prime Minister leaving."

They have tried to stop the protest in hundreds of ways, and most importantly, they will not be able to stop it. This protest, regardless of anyone's will, will not stop, it is one of those volcanoes that will not stop.

"The protest will only be stopped by Rama's resignation and the fulfillment of all points, when the law is changed and the fadromas are removed from the protected areas from Zvërnec to Rrjoll," he said.

Citizen protests against the government have continued for 50 days and will continue in the coming days, while activists have announced a large rally on July 23 in front of the Albanian Parliament.

One of the activists stated that citizens have been protesting for 50 days in a row to convey a message to Prime Minister Edi Rama. He emphasized that a symbolic protest will also take place the next day in front of the Parliament building, while a broader mobilization is expected on July 23.

"We have been protesting for 50 days to show this guy that we don't want him anymore. There will be a session on the 23rd and we will hold a big protest there. Tomorrow something symbolic will happen in front of the Parliament. On the 23rd in the morning there will be a big protest in front of the Parliament ," the activist declared.

Protesters have been holding rallies in Tirana for seven weeks, demanding political change and declaring that they will continue their civic resistance in the coming days.

Pas fjalimeve të mbajtura nga disa prej pjesëmarrësve, qytetarët kanë nisur marshimin drejt godinës së Kryeministrisë, ku pritet të vijojnë protestën.

Organizatorët kanë bërë të ditur se mobilizimi i tyre do të vazhdojë edhe në ditët në vijim. Konkretisht, protesta e radhës është paralajmëruar për 23 korrik, kur qytetarët do të zhvendosen përpara godinës së Kuvendit, paradite, në kohën kur do të zhvillohet seanca e radhës plenare.

Një nga aktivistët, në fjalën e tij gjatë grumbullimit në sheshin “Skënderbej” ka deklaruar se qëllimi i mbajtjes së protestës paradite, është që t’u përcjellin deputetëve mesazhin se qytetarët nuk ndihen të përfaqësuar nga parlamenti aktual.

Sipas tij, protesta e 23 korrikut do të jetë një tjetër formë e reagimit qytetar pas javësh të tëra rezistence në rrugët e Tiranës.

“Në datë 23 korrik është protesta paradite. T’i tregojmë parlamentit që nuk na përfaqësojnë dhe që nuk jemi të kënaqur me punën që ata bëjnë. Në ditët e ardhshme kemi përgatitur disa gjëra interesante. Studentët distancohen kategorikisht nga Kuvendi që ka dalë nga protesta, nuk e di si mund ta quajnë veten përfaqësues, kur shumica e protestuesve nuk i mbështet”, tha qytetari.

Ajo që nisi si një reagim kundër projektit në zonën e mbrojtur të Zvërnecit është shndërruar në një lëvizje me kërkesa më të gjera, ku protestuesit akuzojnë qeverinë për korrupsion dhe keqqeverisje.

Gjatë marshimit drejt Kryeministrisë u dëgjuan thirrjet: "Rama ik!", "Berisha ik!", "Ikni të gjithë!", "Poshtë kasta politike!", "Duam Shqipërinë si gjithë Europa!", "Qeveria dhe politika janë kthyer në harem!", "Jep dorëheqjen!", "Ju erdhi fundi!".

Aktivistët prej 49-të ditësh rresht, theksojnë se protestat do të vijojnë çdo ditë deri në plotësimin e kërkesave të tyre. Gjatë marshimit në bulevardin para Kryeministrisë pati brohoritje të vazhdueshme, këngë patriotike dhe pankarta ironizuese drejtuar qeverisë dhe gjithë klasës politike.
