Journalist Lutfi Dervishi has reacted after the terrorist attack orchestrated by Serbia this morning in the North of Kosovo, where one policeman was killed and another injured.
Dervishi recalls the recent events in Kosovo, where at first KFOR soldiers were shot and wounded, then Kosovo policemen were kidnapped and nobody held Serbia responsible.
"At first, KFOR soldiers were shot and wounded, but nobody held Serbia responsible, because they chose to close their eyes, then they kidnapped the Kosovo policemen, but KFOR was not in a "position" to determine where they were kidnapped because they had their eyes and closed. Today they killed a Kosovo policeman. Will the "West" open its eyes?, writes Dervishi on Facebook.
A serious incident was recorded on Sunday morning in Kosovo, where armed persons killed a police officer and injured another.
The event took place in the Zveçan area, where it is believed to be a well-organized attack by masked and heavily armed persons.
The news was given by Prime Minister Albin Kurti himself, who wrote through a post on social networks that the event happened around 03:00 in the morning, while gunfire continues to be active in the area.
According to Kurti, the perpetrators of this hateful and terrorist crime are masked and heavily armed, as he promised that the Kosovo Police will protect citizens without distinction and sovereignty.
"Around 3 o'clock in the morning today, in the village of Banjska in Zveçan, the Kosovo police was attacked, in which case one Kosovo policeman was killed and another was injured. The killed is a police officer with the rank of sergeant, while the injured is a member of the border police. At this moment, the firing of firearms of different calibers on our police continues. The attackers are professionals with masks and armed with heavy weapons.
We condemn this criminal and terrorist attack. Organized crime with political, financial and logistical support from official Belgrade is attacking our country. In this battle we protect and enforce the law, protect and preserve citizens without distinction and independent Kosovo. "Executive criminals and their order givers will fail, will be caught, tried and punished," Kurti wrote.
