New details have been revealed about the arrest of the former Cadastre Director in Durres, Rajmonda Dashi and her connection to a criminal group, who helped them launder money.
It is learned that the brothers Besjan and Leonard Ramaj have been convicted in Belgium for drug trafficking, while by the decision of the Special Court, the security measure "arrest in prison" has been assigned to them in our country.
According to the sources, it turns out that the brothers are Rajmonda Dashi's close family ties.
A businessman, citizen Ardian Malasi, also ended up in handcuffs.
The former head of the Durrës Cadastre, Rajmonda Dashi, has been placed under the security measure of "house arrest" by order of SPAK due to her involvement in money laundering with a criminal group whose activity was abroad. 1 person has been arrested, and 2 Fierak brothers have been put under "prison arrest" in absentia, by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office. The investigation launched by SPAK came after a letter arrived from Belgium some time ago about money laundering and structured criminal group.
The two brothers, convicted by the Belgian authorities for offenses related to the trafficking of narcotics, during the exercise of this activity in special cooperation with the former head of the Durrës Cadastre, Rajmonda Dashi, and the third person arrested with the initials AM, have committed continuous illegal actions with the aim of laundering the income that they have benefited from carrying out criminal activity.
This money was then invested in real estate in Albania. More specifically, Rajmonda Dashi has carried out actions in the transfer of wealth in order to hide the illegal origin; concealing or covering ownership or property rights, knowing that this property is a product of the offense or criminal activity; the acquisition of ownership, knowing at the moment of taking it over, that this property is the product of a criminal offense or criminal activity.
SPAK informed that during the investigation the assets and the legal actions carried out on them were identified and the Special Court was requested to seize 49 assets in total, and in particular 12 apartments in Fier, 4 in Tirana, 3 garages in Tirana, 27 bank accounts , 1 trading company and 2 cars. The investigation continues for the identification of other persons involved in this criminal activity and the identification of other assets.
Currently, Rajmonda Dashi was appointed specialist for the area of Vora and Kamza.
