The Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla has responded to the message of the convicts who ask for more frequent Criminal Amnesty, saying that there is a tradition for this.
Balla said that he does not agree with their request, and above all that those who benefit from the amnesty should not return to criminal activities.
"I do not agree with the conclusion that amnesties should be made more often. The truth is that the government proposed an amnesty this year and as you have seen there is a tradition that there is never an annual amnesty and meanwhile the amnesty always brings back to the streets the people involved in criminal activities and it is our duty and the message that we must let's give all those who have benefited from the warm hand of society, I think they should put their finger on the head if they don't want to return to where they were, they should follow the law", said Balla.
