Journalist Enton Abilekaj commented on the meeting of the Socialist Party. He said that no guarantee has been given that the justice reform will be independent from Prime Minister Rama.
According to Abilekaj, so far Rama has shown that he can use justice in the same way as the dictator Enver Hoxha used to do, who hit his enemies through the Ministry of the Interior and the investigation.
While debating with the socialist MP Tonin Gogu, Abilekaj said that until now there is not a single case where justice has acted "without asking Rama".
Excerpts from the studio debate:
Enton Abilekaj: The vetting took place without the consensus of the opposition, the Socialist Party took the entire justice reform and did it as it wanted. We have the judge who was convicted in Greece and she hid it, she didn't declare it. This judge turns out to be blackmailable, because she gave the main decisions, especially those related to the leader of the opposition.
So we doubt if they want to use justice as a personal whip. That I can use it as Enveri once used the Ministry of the Interior and the former investigator who used the investigator to eliminate opponents or those who had a grudge, or do we have a justice reform that serves us all. Has this justice ever shown that it can arrest without Rama's permission? Not so far.
