President Begaj dismisses the Commander of the Air Force

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has signed two decrees that bring changes to the direction of the Albanian Air Force.

With Decree No. 164, dated March 30, 2026, the release from duty of Major General Ferdinant Vasil Dimo, who held the position of Commander of the Air Force, was decided.

Subsequently, through Decree No. 165, of the same date, Brigadier General Edmond Abaz Voci was appointed head of the Air Force.

The change in direction has been made official by the Head of State, while no other details regarding this decision have been made public.
