According to the Tirana Police announcement, from 4:00 PM until the end of the activities, there will be temporary traffic restrictions and blockages on several road axes in the capital.
The State Police has made public the plan of measures to guarantee order and security during the activities that will take place on Friday afternoon in Tirana. The focus of the measures is the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party in "Italia" Square and the protest announced by the opposition on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard.
According to the Tirana Police announcement, from 4:00 PM until the end of the activities, there will be temporary traffic restrictions and blockages on several road axes in the capital.
On the other hand, the opposition has announced the holding of its 13th protest, which is expected to start at 6:00 PM on "Deshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, adding to the security measures taken by the authorities.
Due to these activities, vehicle traffic will not be allowed on the streets "Papa Gjon Pali II", "Dervish Hima", "Faik Konica", "Lek Dukagjini", "Gjergj Filipi", "Hasim Zeneli", "Themistokli Gërmenji" and on the segment of "Ibrahim Rugova" street from the intersection with "Libri Universitar" street to "Shopen" square.
Also, traffic will be blocked on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard, up to "Mother Teresa" Square.
The police have called on citizens to use alternative routes for movement and to respect the instructions of officers on the ground, in order to ensure the smooth conduct of activities and guarantee public safety.
