The 56th day of anti-government protests has begun in the capital. Hundreds of citizens have gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office, holding national flags and anti-government banners.
Activist Edison Lika said that for 56 days in a row, Albanians have been demanding Rama's removal and that the property situation, he said, has continued for 36 years without being resolved.
"It has been 36 years since Albanians have been clashing with each other at the doors of the courts because their rights are still not recognized by the state. People have been dragged out of their homes, I myself was there on May 5th and I will not forget the figure who resisted Veliaj's propaganda machines. Albania is full of heroes everywhere. Mother Rita, after protesting for a year in Durrës, has been protesting for all Albanians for 56 days now ," he said.
