On the 40th day of the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, a citizen called on Albanians not to withdraw from the protest, declaring that the resistance will continue until the government leaves.
Speaking to the protesters, she said that, despite the international activities in which Prime Minister Edi Rama participates, the reality in Albania remains that of citizens who have been taking to the streets every evening for 40 days to demand change.
" We will continue until this government falls. Rama was very happy about the Summit yesterday, but what will he say to the internationals? About Albania and the citizens who have been taking to the streets for 40 days? About the nature that is being sold? About the young people who are leaving because they cannot find a job in Albania? ", the protester said.
She stressed that the protest will not stop until, in her opinion, there is real political change, while calling on citizens to stay united.
The 40th day of the protest is taking place in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, after citizens initially gathered at Skanderbeg Square and marched towards the boulevard. The rally continues with speeches by activists and citizens, who have reiterated the demand for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the removal of the political caste.
