The police of Fier have prosecuted the 52-year-old lawyer, Pëllumb Isufaj, in a free state.
"The Section for the Investigation of Economic-Financial Crimes referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in a free state for the citizen PI, 52 years old, resident in Fier, with the duty of a lawyer, after he appeared in a broadcast video on 25.04.2024 in the investigative show "Fiks Fare", asking for sexual favors from a citizen. The footage was seized as material evidence," the announcement states.
It was a citizen divorced from her husband who denounced the lawyer on the show, pointing out that he sexually harassed her. "I suspect that the lawyer who represents me, Pëllumb Isufaj, cooperates with the ex-husband. I filed for divorce and my ex-husband did not pay child support, we did not divide the property. I got a lawyer for all these issues", says the whistleblower.
According to her, the lawyer Isufaj is from Fieri and they recommended him because this person also worked in the Enforcement Office. "I started to doubt it when an amount was seized in the bank and they scammed me from October to December 2023 with the idea that my term would expire. I called him many times, he told me that you have 0 ALL. I had the pumpkin, 500 thousand lek plus 200 pounds. He even wanted money for lunches and dinners. And besides these, he also wanted sexual favors. To defend me in court. That's what I thought and that's how it turned out," the whistleblower claims.
