SPAK says that in at least 7 cases, Çyrbja was made aware of information that was considered a state secret and forwarded it to the crime bosses.

Former socialist deputy Jurgis Çyrbja was questioned today by the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.

In his testimony before SPAK, Çyrbja was asked about the charges against him, including election corruption, revealing state secrets and supporting the perpetrators of crimes.

According to the investigations of the prosecution, Çyrbja has been accused of the possible influence of the underworld in the election campaign, securing a safe place in the lists of the Socialist Party for deputies.

Çyrbja has denied the accusations before the prosecutors and has claimed to have explained every episode for which the prosecution accuses him.

I've never had a Sky Ecc app, I'm not the one talking to those people. ', the former MP is said to have said in court.

According to SPAK, the former MP entered the safe list of the SP through the influence of organized crime, and then favored Altin Hajri, a much-wanted person for the kidnapping and disappearance of Jan Prenga and members of the Farruku criminal group.

SPAK says that in at least seven cases its cooperation with the gangs has been proven, through the decoded application, SKY ECC.

One of the people that the socialist legislator not only warned, but also sheltered, was Altin Hajri, who was wanted by justice for the kidnapping and disappearance of the late Jan Prenga.

In return, he received support in votes when he ran for deputy in the Durrës District in the parliamentary elections of 2021.

Çyrbja, the prosecution says, was personally committed to alerting the wanted persons, through interventions in various law enforcement agencies in the country, but also through his brother's brother-in-law, Ahmet Masha.

The latter also ended up in handcuffs on October 20, while the Court decided to leave both of them in prison, while Altin Hajri was also declared wanted for the second time. From the checks carried out, five mobile phones were seized; an external hard drive; a registration device in the form of a package, 1,100 euros and ownership documents.

They are charged with three charges, active and passive corruption, telling state secrets and supporting the perpetrator of the crime.
