These are the images of what is left after the huge fire that swept through Delvina on Tuesday evening and in the early hours of Wednesday.
In the video provided by Euronews Albania, the hillsides are seen, where instead of trees, only ash remains.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday afternoon, BMEC (Armed Forces) firefighting teams managed to stop the flames from advancing towards the homes in Delvina.
Distributed in various parts of the city, firefighting vehicles and personnel have been fighting the fire for several hours, supported by air and in cooperation with local civil emergency structures and the State Police.
