"Berisha's hopes of removing the women's name have been dashed," said journalist Fatos Mahmutaj in an interview on "Ora e Fundit" on ABC News.
He also emphasized that the payment for LaCivita is $50 million from Berisha.
"LaCivita cannot speak on behalf of the United States of America. He is doing private work and lining his own pockets, and the amount he was promised is not small. I have received information from the media and there has been talk of staggering amounts of up to 50 million dollars," he said.
Journalist Mahmutaj also focused on Paul Manafort, about whom he said that through him, DP leader Berisha aims to "catch" Putin. While with LaCivita, according to the journalist, Berisha aims to "catch" Trump.
"Berisha's path has always passed through Belgrade and Moscow. Berisha's connections with UDB have been public for at least 30 years. We also have the war that Berisha waged against the KLA because that's how he took orders from Belgrade. Berisha's path passed through Belgrade, and now he has chosen a path that is the American, but which is the Russian column... with Paul Manafort. And to think that the Trump administration in this situation is dealing with Berisha. Berisha is lying to himself. The American administration has received the evidence... and with such evidence coming in, "a trial has been held" and that job is over. Berisha's non-grata status is not removed," he said, among other things.
Among other things, journalist Mahmutaj added that Trump's policies regarding "non grata" could become stricter.
