The Israeli flag has been displayed in the building of the Polytechnic University of Tirana.

This evening, 40 Albanian students were evacuated from Tel Aviv, while the Foreign Ministry announces that there will be other special flights in the following days.
Israel's security cabinet declared a state of war following attacks by the Palestinian militant group Hamas, which have so far left 700 people dead, more than 2,000 injured and 100 hostages.
The office of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said that this decision was taken because the state faced "terrorist attacks from Gaza".
And while the fighting continues in the south of Israel with Hamas militants, in 22 locations in Israel, the army has undertaken the "Iron Swords" operation against Hamas in the Gaza Strip. Around the Israeli border towns of the Strip, Ashkelon and Sderot, dozens of tanks and troops have arrived ready to respond after Saturday's (October 7, 2023) attacks by Hamas that fired about 5,000 rockets and took dozens of civilians hostage.
The videos shared on social networks prove this. The government of Israel has activated Article 40 of the Israeli Constitution, which means a declaration of war. This article was reinstated for the first time since the Yom Kippur War in October 1973. Simply put, the reinstatement of the article means that the Israeli military has complete freedom for "large-scale military operations" and must report only to political leadership.
