Analyst Neritan Sejamini, commenting on the scale of organized crime in the country, stated that while the world has a classification for business-friendly climate, Albania has a crime-friendly climate.
In an interview for the show "The Unexposed", he said that Albania is one of the first countries that has such an approach to crime, as he accused the government and its institutions of this.
" Albanian crime is among the richest in the world and in Albania it has found complete freedom to launder money, get into business and politics. In Albania today there is a climate friendly to crime, while in the world there is a classification for the climate friendly to business and where Albania is among the last countries in the world, but if there was a classification for the climate friendly to crime Albania would be among the countries money in the world.
Crime is more integrated into the economy than it is fought. Crime cannot be fought by SPAK, nor by a judge or a prosecutor, but by the police, specialized services, intelligence services, taxes and customs, anti-money laundering institutions, the entire state. Are we in this situation in Albania? No. Crime has been strengthened, enriched, while we have no strategy against crime, drugs and the mafia.
Albanian criminals are bloodthirsty, barbaric. We have criminals sentenced to 10-15 years in Italy and they come and build in the middle of Tirana and no one asks them, they get public tenders. We have a government that totally does not fight them ", said Sejamini.
