There are more people affected by "Nile fever", 3 cases are confirmed in Elbasan

Three new cases have been confirmed with the Nile Fever virus, bringing to five the number of those affected in the district of Elbasan.

The last three cases have been concretely confirmed: In Cerrik, an 84-year-old man; in Paper a 73-year-old and in Tregan a 60-year-old.

Those affected are being followed by specialists of the PIH, where so far their health condition is stable, without danger to life.

The first two cases in Elbasan were confirmed in the villages of Gjergjan and Jagodina. Currently both recovered.

Public and local health institutions have taken measures to disinfect the affected areas.
