Analyst Neritan Sejamini, speaking about the strengthening of the lek and the strong fall of the euro, stated that most Albanian businessmen are criminals.
Invited to the show "The Unexposed", he said that most Albanian builders are people convicted outside Albania and they are also large contractors of public funds. According to him, most of them are in the field of construction.
" Albanian businessmen, most of them are criminals. You know very well who has been arrested and what they have behind. They are connected to crime, they are drug people who build. Most Albanian builders are people convicted outside Albania. You have traffickers convicted for dozens of years who are major builders in Albania. And they are large contractors of public funds.
Crime in Albania thrives because the government has created the conditions for crime to launder money without having legal consequences. Most of the towers that are built in the middle of Tirana cost 100-120 million euros without having a single penny in the bank account from companies that have no activity. 90 percent of the builders have no financial activity, no bank account ", said Sejamini, among other things.
