Journalist Anduena Llabani has stated that the arrest of Ervin Salianji is the ignition of an explosive we will have later.
She emphasized that in 26 years there has not been a politician who surrendered himself to the police.
According to Llabani, if Salianji was interested in his judicial process going as it should, he would undoubtedly be the first to run to the doors of the court to make an opposition.
"Salianj's arrest is the ignition of an explosive that we will have later. Which will not only be the opposition's protest, which will be to some extent uncontrolled, as the head of the Albanian opposition, Mr. Berisha, has stated to some extent today. I have not seen until now that in 26 years a politician goes and surrenders to the police. I have not seen until now that a politician, despite a process that had been developing for 6 years, continued and dragged on, and I am convinced that here there is a consensus between the two political parties.
In a year or so, it was Salianji himself who pushed the process forward properly. If he was interested in his judicial process going as it should, he would undoubtedly be the first to run to the doors of the court to make an opposition. I don't know if this scenario, or this pact between the two political parties SP-PD, took place exactly 6 months before the elections", said the journalist for "Abc News".
