It is being talked about in the corridors of justice that in February, we may have 3 major strikes by SPAK.
The last statement of the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, yesterday, 'that the position he holds is not important, but the evidence is what leads SPAK', has alarmed the entire political caste in the country.
Given the high level of corruption in our country, the list of names involved in the affair is long and varied from both sides, both left and right.
It is being talked about in the corridors of justice that in February, we may have 3 major strikes by SPAK.
Already, with the former Prime Minister Berisha 'on his knees' before the justice, the questions have started as to who could be the next "fish" that will fall into SPAK's net, in the coming weeks.
The couple Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi are among the people most 'endangered' by SPAK and who are said to soon face justice.
Meta and his wife turn out to be the politicians with the most files in SPAK. Lawsuits against them have been numerous and so far a total of 6 lawsuits have been registered.
The file that scares Meta the most is undoubtedly that of the CEZ-DIA affair. There was a lawsuit against him by the lawyer Romeo Kara and SPAK questioned him a few days ago. Until now, evidence and testimony have been collected that burden Ilir Meta's positions.
Another file that is being investigated is that of lobbying in the USA. The suspicions are that when Meta was the chairman of LSI, he spent nearly 500,000 dollars on lobbying in the USA, money that has not been declared anywhere.
Another "fish" that can be hit by SPAK in the coming days is Olta Xhaçka, who is accused of being involved in the affair with the Saranda naval base when she was Minister of Defense. SPAK suspects that the naval base was given to private individuals in flagrant violation of the law.
The former Minister of Agriculture seems to have a "noose around her throat" and very soon we may have a move on the part of SPAK, regarding the issue related to IPARD funds! OLAF itself has found many irregularities in the distribution of EU funds, and SPAK has been investigating the scandal for months.
Another name that could sink these months is that of the mayor of Kamza, Rakip Suli, who is accused of tender abuse and electoral corruption.
Meanwhile, even though there is still no investigation into it, the opening of the Tirana incinerator file may soon lead to the "sinking" of the mayor of Tirana, Erjon Veliaj. This is always if SPAK will have the courage to go deeper into the investigations.
The last, and not at all in terms of importance, is Prime Minister Edi Rama and his connection with the "McGonigal" case. With the former FBI agent who is expected to be sentenced next month by American justice, for the Albanian case, we may have a signal from across the Atlantic, that SPAK will act against the prime minister.
The list does not end there and SPAK clearly has a voluminous job ahead. But what all Albanians want to know is who will be caught by the "Russian roulette" of the new justice!/ Pamphlet
