Restaurant "Gzona" in the Castle of Tirana is suspected to be the hidden property of the former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj.
This is revealed by SPAK's investigations into Beqaj's connections with pharmaceutical companies, as well as the abuses of funds from the Aid Coordinating Agency, SASPAC.
Restaurant "Gzona" is under the trade name of the company "Albanian Food and Hospitality Lab". Ilir Beqaj's wife, Adriana Beqaj, was previously a shareholder in this business.
But, according to SPAK, she has left "de jure" from this business, since in reality Ilir Beqaj continued to have control through Ermal Kurtulaj and Gazmend Prenga, who was also the administrator.
Meanwhile, the Special Prosecutor's Office during the investigations found that the money of the Usair project went to the trading company "Albanian Food and Hospitality Lab" with the trade name "GZONA Restaurant" created on 29.01.2019, with the address "Murat Toptani Street, which is believed to belongs to former minister Ilir Beqaj.
For this, 4 invoices were issued to the subject Landays international:
- Invoice dt. 23.02.2023, 21:41:05, value 80,980 ALL.
- Invoice dt. 25.05.2023, 23:23:03, value 90,000 ALL.
- Invoice dt. 16,08.2023, 15:22:43, value 4,189,500 ALL;
- Invoice dt. 22,09.2023, 22:27:27, value 49,500 ALL:
Regarding the invoice dated 16.08.2023, 15:22:43, value 4,189,500 ALL, from E-Fiscalization results with the description "Catering Service".
This invoice, according to SPAK, turns out to have been issued a few minutes before the other invoice was issued against Eusair, raising the suspicion that there was a condition that preceded the issuance of the invoice against Eussair, creating reasonable suspicion that in advance the parties have talked to each other and that the amount constitutes a material benefit, corruption that the commercial company Landeays has paid to Gzone, for the service it has benefited from Eussair.
The other case is also related to the acceptance by the FIAA association of the amount of 350,000 ALL, which, referring to the time it was issued, creates the suspicion that the amount constitutes a material benefit in the form of a corrupt action.
According to the invoices, it appears that this Eusair project also issued a sales invoice to the FIAA Association on dt. 17.08.2023, at 15:40:55, the invoice in the value of 22,000 Euros, and this association has issued on 23.08.2023, at 11:55:19, the invoice in the value of 350,000 lek against the restaurant "Gzona"./ Ora News
