How many times has he been asked in press conferences, television interviews during accusations in parliament about the landfill affair, Prime Minister Edi Rama has said that the incinerator of Elbasan is a "magnificent work with modern technology", calling every evidence a slander.
During the years 2022-2023, "Pamphlet" has published many facts, which prove that the incinerator of Elbasan is a piece of technological waste produced in the Czech Republic in the 60s that does not work and, according to specialists, cannot be put into operation.
This is confirmed by the announcement of the tender, made by the state company "ECO-ELB", which manages the landfill and incinerator "Albtek Energy" of Elbasan, run by the Municipality of Elbasan in partnership with the municipalities of Librazhd, Përrenjas, Gramsh, Belsh, Peqin and Cërrik. .
In the announcement of the winner of the tender published on December 26, 2023, the state company declares that it has paid 265 million ALL with VAT, for the purchase of spare parts for the boiler, the electric plant and the incinerator turbine of Elbasan.
Four months ago, equipment worth 210 million Lek was purchased, because after the physical control of the test done by the private sector with 33 million Lek, it was found that the incinerator was missing some electrical and mechanical equipment, as well as equipment outside the catalog was installed.
With this repeated tender for other spare and spare parts, the denunciations published by "Pamphlet" are confirmed, that the incinerator of Elbasan is not only not a "magnificent and modern work", but it has not been lit and cannot be lit.
The government discovered after 2 years that the incinerator of Elbasan had "deficient tools", while after December 2021 when it was seized from Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtir and passed into the ownership of the state until 1 month ago, Babloku and Balluku have publicly deceived, as if the incinerator has been started, it is burning waste and producing electricity.
We remind you that for the Elbasan incinerator concession, in addition to the 22.5 million Euro contract fund, the Ministry of Energy has given Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri an additional 12 million Euros, for allegedly modernizing waste incineration./Pamphlet
