The Special Court has changed its strategy regarding the proceedings against Berisha. For two days, judge Irena Gjoka has not been able to hold the hearing on the security measure against Berisha related to the "Partizani" affair. Yesterday, Berisha's lawyers became the cause, while today a lawyer was mainly appointed.
Irena Gjoka appointed Artan Simon as state attorney for Berisha. But the latter was attacked by the people of Berisha and his son, since according to them he is with the government. The lawyer had made several posts on social networks allegedly attacking Berisha.
After the accusations, SPAK entered the game and demanded a change of lawyer, leaving no possibility of interpretation by Berisha.
But unlike the first time when the lawyer's name was mentioned, GJKKO kept the name of the new lawyer secret in the press release. He has been recognized by documents and only tomorrow at 10.00 will it be known that no one will represent Berisha. It seems that this strategy was done to leave no possibility of lynching.
" At the request of the Prosecution, in order to guarantee effective protection, the Court replaced the lawyer Artan Simoni with another lawyer from the list of lawyers mainly and gave him time to familiarize himself with the acts. The hearing will take place on 26.10.2023 at 10 am ," the court announced.
