
Since yesterday, Albania has been affected by bad weather that has caused problems in most cities from the South to the North.
Blocked roads in rural areas, landslides, asphalt cracks and power problems. The Albanian Road Authority has made an overview of the latest situation regarding the state of the roads.
During the night, the rains have continued throughout the country accompanied by storms and wind, causing stones and materials to fall on the body of the road as in the axes: Skuraj-Peshkopi, Hani i Hotit-Tamarë, Bogë-Theth, Kukës-Shishtavec, Vau Dejës-Pukë, Bajram Curri-Valbonë, Qafë Mali-Fierzë, Bujan-Qafë Morinë, Elbasan-Qafë Thane and Përmet-Çarshovë, where the roads have already been cleaned and the movement of vehicles is carried out normally. The maintenance work groups have been in the field all night working to ensure normal circulation on all national axes.', announces the ARRSH.

In Tirana, the situation has improved, compared to the day before. Work is being done on the Bênçë-Lekdush road segment, in the place called "Uji i Varur", Tepelën municipality, on the Picar-Golem road axis, to unblock the roads from inerts. A group of 23 foreign tourists were evacuated without problems, after they were blocked at the entrance of the Langarica canyon due to the numerous flows of the river. In some road axes in Shkodër, Dibër, Elbasan, Berat and Korçë, work is being done to clean the roads. While the OSHEEE teams are enabling the reconnection of energy in some deep areas of Gjirokastra, Vlora, Berat, Fier, Korça, Dibra and Elbasan.
