Analyst Andi Bushati says that the damage that the US administration under the leadership of the Biden-Blinken Democrats has done in Albania can hardly be undone.
Invited to the show 'Çim Peka Live' to talk about the political effects that the new Trump administration will have in Albania, Bushati sees with skepticism whether there will be an overthrow of the Rama regime in Tirana, because as he emphasized, this regime was strengthened and helped by the previous administration to stay in power.
According to Bushati, the America of the Democrats has already done damage to Albania.
" My fear is that as Trump's power appears, there will be no pronounced sensitivity towards dictatorships or dictatorial regimes. Rama's regime was strengthened under the Democratic administration, Rama was helped by the previous administration to strengthen his power. If this had not happened, today we would have a neutral America. The problem is that the regime in Albania has been installed and Trump has not shown any love for liberal democracy.
If today we have an autocratic regime installed in Albania, the chances are minimal to expect from Trump-ist America to engage and criticize this regime. The damage that the Democrats have done, there are no illusions that can overturn and overthrow this. A man who has no problem with Putin and China will not be impressed by Vučić in Belgrade and Rama in Tirana.
Let's give up the dream that we breed dictators and America overthrows us. We risk that the evil that the Blinken-Biden administration did, could be deepened by the Trump administration. There is still no great hope that it can overthrow the Rama regime. America of the Democrats did the damage in Albania , "he said.
