Temperatures up to 34 degrees Celsius, while short-term storms are expected in mountainous areas
Albania will be affected by relatively stable weather conditions on Monday, June 8, according to the forecast of the Military Meteorological Service.
The weather is expected to be mostly clear in most of the territory, with occasional alternations of moderate to dense cloudiness. The cloudiness will be more pronounced in the mountainous areas of the east and south of the country.
From noon to afternoon, occasional low-intensity rain is expected in the hilly and mountainous areas. In the eastern mountainous areas and in the southern highlands, the rain may be accompanied by occasional short-term storms.
The wind will blow from the southwest to northwest, with an average speed of about 10 meters per second.
Regarding sea conditions, waves in the Adriatic and Ionian Seas are expected to be force 2 to 3.
Maximum temperatures will reach up to 34 degrees Celsius in several cities in the country, while minimum temperatures will fluctuate from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius. The warmest cities are predicted to be Tirana, Shkodra, Elbasan, Berat, Fier and Gjirokastra, with temperatures reaching 34 degrees Celsius.
