Tensions in front of Tirana City Hall, protesters set tires on fire and dismantle the metal fence

Tensions return in the protest in front of the Tirana municipality.

The protesters have set fire to some old tires that they had placed in front of the Tirana municipality. As they tried to throw Molotov cocktails towards the town hall, the police responded by throwing water at the crowd.

The attempt of the police to prevent the protesters from setting fire to the tires has failed, and the square has turned into a battlefield between smoke and flames.

The organizational secretary of the Reestablishment DP, Klevis Balliu, called on the police to let the protesters continue with their rally in front of the Tirana municipality.

Among other things, he said that the opposition will not stop, since according to him Rama has threatened the democratic system in Albania.
