Egnatia will begin its Champions League journey on Wednesday, facing Moldovan champions Petrocub in the first match of the first qualifying round. The match will be played at the "Zimbru" stadium, starting at 19:00.
The team led by Nevil Dede has carefully prepared for this challenge and aims to get a positive result, which will give them an advantage for the return match and bring them closer to qualifying for the second round of the competition.
During the transfer window, Egnatia has strengthened with several new players, while maintaining the core of the champion team. The players from Rrogozhina also conducted an intensive preparatory phase in Bulgaria, which they concluded with encouraging results.
Meanwhile, today also brings the matches of other Albanian teams in the first qualifying round of the Champions League.
At 18:00, Kosovo champions Drita will play away against Lithuanian team Kauno Zalgiris. The match will take place at the "Darius and Girėnas" stadium.
Meanwhile, at 19:00, the champions of North Macedonia, Vardar, will host the Finnish team KuPS at the "National Arena Todor Proeski" stadium.
