SPAK has started the communication of accusations against the former mayor of Himara Jorgo Goro and some other former officials related to the alienation of properties in favor of Artan Gaçi, the husband of the former minister Olta Xhaçka.
Goro is accused by SPAK of "Misuse of duty" in collaboration, as he was arrested in March of this year.
SPAK's investigations showed that Goro, in cooperation with Jerasimo Bushi, forwarded to the competent bodies forged documents, making it possible to register an area of 5512 m2 of agricultural land, owned by the state, in favor of the private entity, owned by Foto Mëhilli, the father of Stavri Mihilli.
After this procedure, both of them continued with the transactions to register the surface of the land in the name of a private company represented by Artan Gaçin.
In total, there are two alienated land surfaces, both about 10 thousand m2.
In relation to this issue, the head of the Vlorë cadastre Bilbil Aliaj was placed under "compulsion to appear", while the former lawyer Vezir Gjikoka as well as the former director of the Department of Land Protection and Management in Himarë Municipality were placed under "house arrest".
On the other hand, Stavri Mëhilli, the owner of the land, who is suspected of having committed 2 criminal offenses, was left in "prison custody", in absentia, because he was not found to be arrested.
A few months after the arrest, the Special Prosecutor's Office requested another security measure of arrest in prison for Jorgo Goro, as well as seizing all 4900m2 of land that has been benefited by the former commanding mayor of Himara, Arqile Bollano.

Goro is suspected of abuse of office and corruption, as the investigation was initially started by the Vlora prosecutor's office but was transferred a month ago to SPAK. The land is located in the area of Livadh in Himare, which according to the prosecutor's office was unfairly benefited by Arqile Bollano, the mayor commanded by SP in Himare municipality.
Bollano himself was part of the working group, which built the list of names of people who acquired land unjustly in Himara, a part of which it is suspected that, using his acquaintance with Goro, he gives it to himself.
But unlike the measure requested for Goro, there is currently no request for a measure for Bollano, except for the sequestration of the land.
The report related to this matter was first made at the police station of Himara, by a resident of the area who owned the regular land and had acquired it based on law 7501. In 2015 when the procedures were carried out, Bollano had an important function at the office of properties in the Municipality of Himara, he even led the working group for the division of properties. The benefit of the two properties was made with Jorgo Goro's signature, with the argument that families like Bollano were not treated with land during the year 1991-1992. And because these families had and had actual use of several plots of land in the area of Himara, these lands should be recognized by the municipality.
We remind you that Artan Gaçi and Olta Xhaçka have been sued for the issue of the resort in Himare, for which he has also received the status of a strategic investor. Artan Gaçi has been sued in SPAK by Fredi Beleri, with the accusation of election crime, for abuses with the issue of properties on the coast.
Beleri filed a lawsuit in the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime against the former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, her husband Artan Gaçi and the former head of the Municipality of Himara, Jorgo Goro.
The prosecution of SPAK, together with the agents of BKH, also went to the Municipality of Himara and seized all relevant documentation, for which Fredi Beleri claims that the property was alienated so that Artan Gaçi could benefit from it and obtain the status of a strategic investor.
On the other hand, Artan Gaçi must give explanations in front of SPAK on how he took advantage of this property to obtain the status of "strategic investor" and what are the practices that have been followed. / Pamphlet
