"Be a man and leave", the protester 'explodes' at Rama: You

Strong speeches were delivered during the 24th protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, where various citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with the government and the political situation in the country.

One of the protesters, an immigrant who returned to Albania, said that for decades Albania has been dominated by the same political names and that citizens have shown extraordinary resilience in their demand for law and state.

"I am a returned immigrant. I was 2 years old when the first protest for political changes took place in this square in this country, when Berisha came to power. My son is 10 years old today, Berisha still wants power. I was 10 years old when Rama came to power, Rama still wants power today. I thank each of you in the square, no one thought that in 36 years we Albanians would show such stability and that we love the law and the state", he said.

The rallyist addressed the prime minister in harsh tones, accusing him of undermining democracy and arrogant behavior towards citizens. He stated that 'the prime minister behaves as if he were the owner of the country and its citizens, while emphasizing that Albania is built by the work of its people.'

"He thinks he is elected. Listen to me you son of a bitch. Get out of power clean. You know who voted for you, you have killed democracy and behaved like an owner. You are not the owner of my life, of my children and of Albania. Rama, I have faced your fines, but this is not personal, it has to do with the freedom of this people. If you boast that Albania is being built, we are doing it, not you. You are the obstacle," said the protester.

A young girl also spoke at the protest, who said that she had had the opportunity to study in the United States with a full scholarship, but had chosen to stay in Albania.

"After high school, I was given the right to study in America with a 100% scholarship, but I decided to stay in my country. Years later, Albanians are showing that there is still hope. Eyes are seeing that there are among us fearless men and women whose blood boils for Albania!", the girl said.

At the end of her speech, she called for broader civic unity and mobilization.

"The time has come for the wounds to heal and the bloody perpetrators to pay once and for all! Let the anger of the Albanians fall on the heads of the villains! The Prime Minister is shrinking in fear! The time has come for a nationwide movement! That armchair you are sitting on is the scaffold that the people hang on every day!", said the protester.
