"Party rally", Kikia: There was no cause, citizens would not protest

Analyst Mentori Kikia commented on the protest of the Democratic Party yesterday evening in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

A party rally is called Kikia, while it is said that it was all to demonstrate the support enjoyed by DP after receiving the stamp. For the show 'Today Live in Albania', Kikia said that the participation in the protest was not what was expected after such a large and extended organization.

"It was a party rally, also started by the causes it addressed, even though there was a lack of a direct cause, a demand to be fulfilled explicitly. It was a demonstration of the political support that PD enjoys, after several developments such as the end of the judicial odyssey of the seal and not only, which was finally given to Berisha. After these developments, DP tried to show how much its support is in the public", said Kikia for Report TV.

Kikia also emphasized that there was a lack of a cause to protest, while emphasizing that only PD and PL members, or their militants, participated, since the citizens would not protest to attack SPAK on behalf of Meta or for the release of Berisha.

"In Albania there are reasons to protest 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and 30 days a month. Meta addressed the attacks on SPAK, Berisha asked for rotation since it has happened in other countries, rotation should also happen in Albania. This It made the protest confusing. The participation of the citizens in unfavorable conditions was not what could be expected after such a large and extended organization. I don't believe that the citizens should know what they are protesting about would join a protest to attack SPAK on account of the defect, or to demand the release of Berisha. These were party members and those who gathered were members of PD and PL, and political supporters of Meta and Berisha," he said . Kikia

Last night, the Democratic Party held a protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, which lasted about 2 and a half hours, along with stops at the Tirana City Hall and the Assembly. Molotov cocktails were thrown in the direction of the Prime Minister's Office as soon as the speech of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha began, in the investigation of the Partizani affair.

Dozens of Molotov cocktails were directed at the building of the Prime Minister's Office and the City Hall, while masked people with full black bags were also seen in the protest. Meanwhile, Berisha addressed the militants through a recorded video, where he spoke of a technical government. Both of them, together with Meta, attacked SPAK and the new justice system.
