Forecaster Lajda Porja announced that the thermometer on Saturday and Sunday will mark 42 degrees in the shade.

"Today we will be at temperatures of 38-39 degrees. There will be values of 40 degrees in Tirana, Fieri, 41 degrees in Elbasan and 41 degrees in Gjirokastër. While the rest of the territory fluctuates between 37-39 degrees.
As for the coastline, it is a little cooler. From Velipoja to Saranda and Ksamil, the thermometer will mark 37-39 degrees, while in the mountainous areas, temperatures will be in the north east. Kukësi and Hasi will have temperatures of 38-39 degrees and a little cooler, if we can call it that, will be the southeast area, the Korca district, where temperatures will be recorded at 36 degrees Celsius.
The drop we expect today at noon will increase tomorrow. Saturday will mark 42 degrees again and it is predicted that Sunday will not change.
