Alket Shatro, Deputy Director for the investigation of organized crime and serious crimes, invited to Top Story clarified the arrest of the resident of Big Brother VIP, Liam Mandiaro.
According to Shatro, when Liam passed the airport in Rinas, i.e. when he entered Albania, the system did not work. He has entered Albania as a German citizen, for the first time since the decision, which he was not aware of.
" On May 4, 2022, the prosecution sent an order for the execution of the criminal decision for the citizen Liam Osmani. Upon receipt of the order, the wanted announcement was made. There was a final sentence, as a citizen and German citizen. He used the electronic system when he entered Rinas and at that moment this system did not generate an alert. In this case, the system did not fail. This citizen has not been declared internationally wanted ," said Shatro.

" The system was working at the time when he passed, but it didn't catch him ," said Shatro.
" Liam Osmani left with an Albanian passport in 2019. In 2022, he received a final decision, where he was sentenced to prison. Previously, he left his citizenship and on 27.02 he entered Albania as a German citizen, but it was used for the first time by this citizen ", he said.
