The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, appealed to the Supreme Court for the security measure "arrest in prison" imposed on him by the Court of First Instance with the investigations into the "Saspac" file.
Through his lawyer Ermal Yzeiraj, Beqaj opposes the measure imposed on him by the special court:
On July 4 of this year, Ilir Beqaj was placed in handcuffs by order of the prosecutor Elida Kaçkini, who conducted the investigations for the abuse of the funds of the European Union funds management agency.
This case, apart from Beqaj, left Ermal Kurtulaj and Alfred Nikolaj in prison.
As for Gazmend Haxhia and Elton Martini, the GJKKO set the "house arrest" measure. Bledar Leka and Bjona Ziaj have the easiest measure, that of "obligation to appear".
