The opposition has officially requested at the Conference of Speakers that state institutions initiate procedures to declare the late judge Astrit Kalaja a "Martyr of the Homeland".
The request comes after the serious incident that occurred on the premises of the Court, where Judge Kalaja was shot dead in the courtroom by Elvis Shkambi, immediately after the announcement of a court decision that was not in favor of the author's family.
The opposition considers this act a direct attack on the justice system and demands that the state honor the figure of the judge who lost his life in the line of duty, by granting him the highest honor status for service to the country.

opozita eshte nje nga fajtoret kryesore te shkaterrimit te sistemit gjyqesor ne Shqiperi, bastardi Berisha dhe te vetet instaluan RRYSHFETIN ne cdo qelize te ketij vendi, gjyqtari i ndjere eshte viktime e nje sistemi gjyqesor dhe sitemi politik qelbesire, imagjinoni mbi te njejten prone disa vendime kundershtuese nga gjykatat dhe bashkia shkoder, hiqja lenes e futja prenes deri sa i cojne njerezit ne vetegjyqesi,viktime nuk eshte vetem i ndjeri Kalaja, viktime eshte Shqiperia e nje sistemi te kalbur gjyqesor dhe qeverises te vendit.
