Lawyer Romeo Kara, speaking about the murder of Judge Astrit Kalaja, who was shot with 3 bullets inside the courtroom after giving a ruling on a property case, said that the country is in a state of emergency and that "patience ran out at the last judge."
"There have been endless trials. As it seems, the 'fairy tail' of patience snapped with the last judge, who surprisingly received the best opinions from my colleagues."
But if we have the correct perception that the country is immersed in corruption and a moral filth unimaginable before, and we never imagined that people would so openly take public property or their own property and be proud.
"That's why I say that this corruption could not have happened without the guarantee of the power of justice being non-existent for the people who were oppressed," he said.
He further commented on the positions of DP leader Sali Berisha, saying that Berisha himself is a symbol of injustice.
"We have a reform that was perhaps not started properly. It has made some progress. But people cannot be tortured. Over 20 judges are involved in this file. I think that Berisha's statements have been imposed so that he is a little withdrawn and for this I can say that Berisha is the biggest denigrator of justice," he said.
