The flow of movements at the border crossing points of Qafë-Thana and Kapshtica decreases.
Official sources indicate that, unlike other days, the number of entries at both border crossing points has dropped significantly. If until a few days ago more than 5400 Albanian citizens and foreigners entered Albania from Greece, during the last 24 hours only 3273 citizens entered and 3994 citizens left our country towards the neighboring country, much less than other days of the tourist season.
The number of entries also decreases at the Qafë Thana border crossing point. During the tourist season, on average, more than 6200 citizens entered every day, while during the last 24 hours only 4658 citizens entered.
During these hours, 5,339 citizens have left Albania in the direction of North Macedonia, thus registering a high number of exits, which shows that the Albanians of North Macedonia and Kosovo who use this border point are returning to their centers of residence after the holidays on the Albanian coast.
