The director of "Acromax Media", Aldor Nini, said that short videos with incidents in the May 11 elections were the most clicked videos. Nini said that in the election videos, there were numerous clicks from Albanians living in the diaspora.
"We measured how many hours a video was watched and not by clicks, because viewability is more important than clicks. The most clicked videos are incidents during the elections and videos related to Berisha after the elections, will I resign or not. Short videos that have an attractive topic have more clicks. It's a mix because in the case of the elections there was a lot of interest from abroad to see how the elections are going," he said.
Regarding the expenses made by parties on Facebook, but also by individuals for the electoral campaign, Nini made a ranking where the Socialist Party is in first place.
"Facebook has been one of the most used platforms in the campaign. The Socialist Party as a party has paid the most, 55 thousand dollars, the Democratic Party 47 thousand dollars, and this also includes individuals. Basha 36 thousand dollars. The Opportunity 24 thousand dollars as a party and the PL 3 thousand dollars. From individuals, the first is Agron Shehaj, then Grigels Muçollari who has spent 9 thousand dollars, Belind Këlliçi 8 thousand dollars and Basha with 6 thousand dollars ," he said for "Report TV".
When asked how much a click costs, he said that it depends on several factors such as the length of the video and the ads that have appeared during the video.
"1 click can have a value of $1 and $20,000 depending on how long the person stayed in that video and how many ads were shown during the time it was viewed. If the click comes from abroad, it is higher, for example from Germany with 1 million clicks, staggering figures can be generated. Titles are also a way to attract a click and these are higher than those for the news edition. Youtube has started to penalize videos that provide information in the title that is not in the video, so they are done to attract viewers ," said Aldor Nini.
