Firefighters have been working all night to put out the fire that broke out yesterday afternoon in the neck of Llogara, near the place where the paratroopers jump.
The army also came to help and it is learned that at around 04:00 the flames were brought under control and efforts are being made to extinguish all the fires and they are checking the area to ensure that there is no activation of the flames.
The General Director of Fireworks, Arben Ceka, in a statement to the media, said that the fire was intentional.
"The fireplaces definitely have a human hand. There will be no tolerance whatsoever. The fire will be investigated and state police are tracking down the arsonists. Soon they will be before the law where it will be very harsh. The Penal Code has determined that arson is a criminal offense and we will not stop together with the police for these arsonists to account for this natural disaster ," he said.
Meanwhile, last night it was possible to put out the fire on the hill of Gjileka in Dhërmi.
