Yesterday, the British Foreign Secretary, David Cameron paid a short visit to Albania, where he met with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Journalist Enkelejda Mema said on the show "7pa5" that Cameron may have asked for something from Rama, in exchange for the financial aid that Britain will provide for the railway network in Albania.
Mema said that Cameron may have requested the construction of a camp for immigrants, the same as the one that will be built by Albania's agreement with Italy.
"It was a visit of a few hours, but beyond the big news it brought is a commitment by London to invest £4 billion in two railways. After this offer there must also be a great demand. I believe that in the meeting he had with Rama, there must have been a request regarding illegal immigration. I don't know if Cameron has asked for an agreement like Albania has with Italy for a camp for immigrants to come to Albania. I start this doubt from the fact that Great Britain has asked Albania to be a temporary host country for illegal immigrants. Rishi Sunak started a campaign with the EU countries on this issue and Rama must have had a phone call from Sunak", said Mema.
