Analyst Kreshnik Spahiu has commented on the visit of the head of the government Edi Rama to Paris, where he held a joint conference with the head of the government Edi Rama.
He emphasized in an interview for Euronews Albania that France considers Albania the capital of the Western Balkans. Among other things, Spahiu said that France is being considered as one of the main supporters and advocates of the Albanian issue.
" The deduction of this whole panorama is that France considers Albania, the capital of the Western Balkans, one of the most skeptical countries about Albania's political role. It is very close to the position of Germany, England and the USA. If we had a country, which looked at us with skepticism or kept some kind of distance because of the turbulences we had with them, I think that Paris considers Tirana the capital of the Western Balkans, because of the military Geopolitical Importance and because of the alignment of Albania as the key to ethnic political stability.
France and Macron have a clear position with Rama. I think that Macron had his reservations towards Tirana and the Albanian government, but he already has a very strong closeness. I think that France is being considered as one of the main supporters and advocates of the Albanian issue. Let's not forget that the project to resolve the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue has a Franco-German name. Macron is one of the main negotiators to quell the debates and tension between Albania and Greece ," he said.
