SPAK revealed the assassination attempt on the strongman of Vlora, Inez Hajrulla.

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime has completed the investigations and revealed the assassination of well-known figures in the world of crime, Inez Hajrullah and Ervis Matodashaj.

SPAK sent to GJKKO, the request for trial of 4 defendants, Leonard Luzi (Zejno, Sejno), Amarildo Nikolli (Xhanej), Muharem Koroveshi (alias Muharem Ismaili alias Muharem Myftaraj) and Erio Zejno, accused of the criminal offenses "Ensuring conditions and of material means to commit murder", to the detriment of citizens Ervis Matodashaj and Inez Hajrulla.

According to SPAK, the murder was ordered for revenge and for taking control of gambling in the city of Vlora.

The assassination is related to the murder of citizen Erigert Zejno in the city of Vlora in 2013.

In connection with this event in 2013, citizens Ervis Matodashaj, Nadir Ferko and Altin Sejdiraj were arrested. But in 2014, the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Vlora decided to stop the investigations for the investigators Ervis Matodashaj and others, due to lack of evidence.

The defendant Leonard Luzi (Zejno), who is the cousin of Erigert Zejno, received an order from Dubai and created a structured criminal group to eliminate the contraband.

Part of the group created to carry out the execution is the defendant Amarildo Nikolli, who would be the executor, as well as the defendants Muharem Koroveshi, and Erio Zejno, in the role of assistant.

Notice of SPAK:

The Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime completed the investigations and sent to the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, the request for trial of criminal proceedings no. 148/1, of 2024, in charge of the defendants Leonard Luzi (Zejno, Sejno), Amarildo Nikolli (Xhanej), Muharem Koroveshi (alias Muharem Ismaili alias Muharem Myftaraj) and Erio Zejno, accused of the criminal offense of "Providing conditions and material means to commit murder", to the detriment of citizens Ervis Matodashaj and Inez Hajrulla, "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", carried out in the special cooperation of the structured criminal group, "Structured criminal group", and "Perpetration of criminal offenses by the group structured criminal and criminal organization", provided respectively by articles 80, 278/1, 28/4, 333/a/1/2, and 334, of the Criminal Code.

The investigations proved that the murder of citizens Ervis Matodashaj and Inez Hajrulla was ordered for revenge and for taking control of gambling. It turns out that on 22.03.2013, in the city of Vlora, citizen Erigert Zejno was shot dead. In connection with this event on 17.08.2013, citizens Ervis Matodashaj, Nadir Ferko and Altin Sejdiraj were arrested. On 21.04.2014, the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Vlorë decided to suspend the investigations for the investigators Ervis Matodashaj, etc., due to lack of evidence, and on 04.12.2014, the investigations of this proceeding were suspended for the discovery of the perpetrators.

The defendant Leonard Luzi (Zejno), sent for trial, is a cousin from the father's side of the citizen Erigert Ferik Zejno, killed on 22.03.2013, in the neighborhood "11 Janari", Vlorë. The investigations proved that the defendant Leonard Luzi was financed by a still unidentified person to commit the murders of two citizens Ervis Matodashaj and Inez Hajrulla.

For this purpose, the defendant Leonard Luzi has created a structured criminal group, part of which are the defendant Amarildo Nikolli, who would be the material executor of the criminal offense, as well as the defendants Muharem Koroveshi, and Erio Zejno, in the role of the assistant. The defendants Muharem Koroveshi and Erio Zejno brought the weapons to the apartment of the defendant Amarildo Nikolli in Vlorë, they helped on the ground with finding the people who were the target of the assassination, as well as they would help the executioner Amarildo Nikolli, in leaving the country of the event (after committing the murder).

The murder of citizens Ervis Matodashaj and Inez Hajrulla was not possible, since on 07.08.2023, at 12:47, in the "Uji Ftohtë" neighborhood, in the city of Vlora, during the physical control carried out on the defendant Amarildo Nikolli, by the police services of the "Fast Albania" Sector, were found and seized as material evidence: a Pietro Beretta brand pistol, Mod 92 FS, cal.9, with a silencer, with a magazine filled with 14 (fourteen) cartridges, caliber 9 mm, as well as a cartridge inserted in the firing slot. It turned out that on the day of his arrest, the defendant Amarildo Nikolli, had gone out precisely to finalize the crime commissioned by the defendant Leonard Luzi.

After sending for trial the criminal proceedings against the above four defendants, the investigations continue within the framework of a separate criminal proceeding, which aims to discover other accomplices in the commission of criminal offenses.
Clarification: The request for judgment is part of the criminal prosecution exercise. Everyone is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a final decision.
