The "killer" who executed 3 women in one day, Dan Hutra, has tried to escape from Fier prison, where he is also isolated.
The Directorate of Prisons informs that he was cooperating with 3 other prisoners, but the plan was discovered at the last moment and everything failed. They had started cutting the insulation railings, while also fitting a sheet by tying it like a rope.
Today , on 04.01.2024, at around 11:25, in IEVP Fier, as a result of several weeks of tracking, surveillance, control and use of technical means by the prison staff, he was caught red-handed trying to escape the prisoner with dangerousness and criminal history, Dan Riza Hutra (author of several murders). The criminal plan to escape from the prison was coordinated and in cooperation with three other detainees. In the room where they were accommodated, the detainees had started cutting the window frame with improvised tools. During the check by the security staff, it was found that in room no. 15, where the high-risk prisoner, Dan Riza Hutra, was housed, means of escape were hidden, specifically: a sheet adapted as a rope and improvised cutting tools ", announces the General Directorate of Prisons.
According to her, preliminary data indicate cooperation between the four prisoners, security breaches and escape attempts. Others involved in this event are: Martin Kapllani, Geraldo Veizaj and Feti Kovaçi , all three accused of theft.
In the end, the General Directorate of Prisons congratulated the staff of the Fier Criminal Judgment Execution Institution, who, thanks to their professionalism and piety, prevented the escape of a prisoner with a high risk to the public and safety in general.
Also, the General Directorate of Prisons guarantees that the staff of the prison service is on duty, more motivated than ever to prevent any incident and danger to order, security and the community.
Who is Dan Hutra?
Dan Hutra is a well-known man for Albanian justice. He has a rich criminal record that includes various criminal offenses for rape, hostage-taking, murder, 2 sensational escape attempts, prison fights, theft, a total of 20 years of criminal history! The author of the events, Dan Hutra, is a person with a significant criminal record, convicted in 2003, with 2 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offense "Illegal deprivation of liberty", convicted in 2009, with 16 years of imprisonment for murder with premeditation, in 2021 he was arrested for residential burglary by the Durrës Police Department and in 2022 he was arrested by the Durrës Police Department for attempted residential burglary. Also, on June 16, 2022, he was arrested by the structures of the Tirana Local Police Directorate, for violence in family committed against his former cohabitant Elena Hysa, and was released from prison on February 16, 2023. On March 1, he executed 3 women and injured 3 others.
The scheme of how the murders happened
At 12:15 p.m., the perpetrator Dan Hutra, on "Teodor Keko" street, near the overpass to "Pallati me shjeta", stabbed Marjana Gurakuqin, 40 years old, resident of Astir. Immediately after this event, the author left with the "Benz" type vehicle with license plate AA 531 UK, which he had rented and at around 12:35 he went to "Rustem Haklaj" street, in Kodër-Kamzë, to the apartment of his ex-partner.
Dan Hutra wounded citizens Elena Hysa, 35 years old, and Kujtime Hysa, 60 years old (his former partner and her mother) with firearms and killed Mevlute Hysa, 30 years old, (sister of his former partner) with firearms ) and Hasime Dafkun, 30 years old, (fiancée of the brother of the ex-cohabitant).
After this event, the author moved in the direction of "Abdyl Elmazi" street, on Arbri street, continued on "Besëlidhja" street, Bathore and at around 12:48 he stopped at the Kurti family's apartment, where he killed with a gun the fire killed citizen Etleva Kurti, 31 years old. / Pamphlet
