Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu, on the show '5 Questions', also focused on the division of the Democratic Party.
Spahiu said that there are 27 new parties that have been created since 1992 as a result of the split of the Democratic Party.
"In 2005 we had a divided majority because the socialists had split the party into Fatos Nano's and Ilir Meta's LSI, Meta split from the PS and it was the democratic party that had gathered the critical spectrum and Berisha in 2005 was the leader of the opposition not just the chairman of the PD. We had a united opposition and a divided majority and the split of the PS led to rotation. Today we have a different situation if in 2005 Berisha gathered 50 personalities and they were a new image and critics like Genc Ruli, Arben Imami, were put under one umbrella, today these 50 people who were the elite that brought the PD to power are opponents of the PD and have been eliminated from politics. 27 PD parties have been created since 1992. Yes, this is the concept of multi-party pluralism, it is legal to be against the PD and the PS", he said.
While focusing on the new parties, Spahiu said that they have made a historic mistake by not coming together in these elections.
"The new parties have made a historic mistake by not joining together, this will be to their detriment and to Albania's. The new parties that exist today would receive 25 MPs and would be a powerful group," he said.
