Lawyer Kreshnik Spahiu stated that the turnout in the by-elections in Tirana will be low. According to him, Berisha and Rama chose candidates who have no ambition to become prime minister in the future.
"If the elections are within 4 weeks, it will be a disadvantage, they could mark the lowest turnout in recent years. It could be somewhere around 35%. There is a register and a synchronicity of Rama and Berisha's strategy, they do not want a Lulzim Basha or Erion Veliaj model, that is, people with ambitions who want to be prime minister. It's like a football match, the fans will not fill the stadium.
I believe that the name of the candidate, when we have ordinary people, the vote goes to the party and in this case we have two ordinary people. Experience has shown that even though there were 8 personalities before, it was impossible to say Tirana. Tirana as a municipality was lost even when the DP was in power. The gray electorate could be in favor of the DP if there was time and a very strong personality , "he said.
