An apartment on the seventh floor of a multi-story building was engulfed in flames this morning in the "29 Nëntori" neighborhood in Fier.
Immediately alarmed, neighbors notified the fire department, which immediately arrived at the scene.
Preliminary sources indicate that the owners of the house had left the apartment 30 minutes earlier.
The narrow road has made it difficult for fire engines to intervene.
