The Ministry of Defense has provided information about the fire situation in our country.
Through a notification, the Ministry informs that 15 fire foci have been extinguished in different areas of the country's territory, during the last 24 hours, while intensive work is being done on only 2 active foci to neutralize them.

In the village of Krastë, Fushë-Krujë administrative unit, work continues on the fire that broke out in a pine area where the situation is under control.
Throughout the night and without interruption, work is being done at the Elbasan waste collection site, for the encapsulation of the foci after the large-scale fire, yesterday afternoon.
71 civil emergency forces and effective Armed Forces under the coordination of the Civil Defense Agency have made it possible to isolate the fires. 16 fire engines and 10 auxiliary vehicles have joined this operation, improving the difficult situation created by the high temperatures created by the burning of waste.
All capacities at the local and central level are in full readiness to keep the situation under control.
