Yesterday, the first victim in Gramsh was recorded, an 80-year-old man, who lost his life from asphyxiation. The fire that he himself started in his backyard spread rapidly, including other villages in the area, near the pine forests on the slopes of Mount Koshnica.

Emergency teams have evacuated residents of 9 villages in Gramsh. The flames also burned the Shemberdhenjes Tekke located in this area. 2 Cougar helicopters have been deployed to help from the air to extinguish the fires.

8 residents of the villages affected by the flames in Gramsh have been treated with medical assistance. It is learned that 200 others were evacuated from the danger areas and will be temporarily accommodated in hotels until the situation improves. Also, about 165 camping packages in sports gyms, taken from state reserves, are at their disposal. The Ministry of Defense, through several urgent and successive announcements, has ordered the evacuation of residents from the villages of Gramsh.

During the evening, the situation was further aggravated by the fire that appeared in Delvina, as the fire approached the oil wells in the area. The situation was declared critical and hundreds of fire and emergency forces were deployed to localize it. The size of the fire was frightening, while the fire hazard also endangered the city, favored by the wind.

Residents of the Mukërs and Llakë neighborhoods have been evacuated, while firefighters from Konispol and Himara have also come to help the Delvina firefighters. Many of the residents of the city of Delvina are trying to leave, while the flames are also endangering the Delvina hospital.
