He is using the same tactics and procedural maneuvers as some organized crime figures who have postponed facing the court for years. The goal is that since they have no hope that this file can be undone by the court or can be rejected for further investigation, "The intention is to postpone the decision-making after May 11 with the hope and illusion that they may be in more favorable circumstances after that, in order to exert pressure on justice, in order to escape trial for this corrupt affair ," said Doçi.
Berisha's lawyer today requested the disqualification of Judge Davidhi, arguing that she is biased, while Davidhi is the one who released him from house arrest at the end of last November.
" The lawyer is legally right because we have seen in similar processes that even organized crime figures, due to these maneuvers to postpone investigations or the transfer of the file to trial, have taken advantage of the deadlines, have burned through the detention deadlines and the prosecution and the court have been forced to release them. To focus on the judge, we must emphasize to the public that to date, no facts or suspicions have been raised that could compromise the figure of the judge, but on the other hand, we are dealing with a judge who has terminated the house arrest security measure for Sali Berisha and for this decision has been appreciated by Sali Berisha and his media circle, and this decision has been overturned and corrected by the court of appeal. An illegal decision was found in relation to the circumstances and the court of appeal decided on another security measure.
