The European Travel Commission, an international non-profit organization, found in a survey that around 60% of Europeans purchase insurance policies when planning their vacations.
Another survey by "Traveler", one of the world's largest travel agencies, ranked travel safety as the category most considered by Europeans during the decision-making process.
With security, both issues related to public order were taken into account, as well as avoiding surprises that would detract from the vacation. For the latter, Europeans buy travel insurance policies.
Albanians have been slower in this regard. However, representatives of travel agencies note a gradual increase in interest in travel policies.
Albanians, as travelers and vacationers in Europe, have gained more experience. Positive in terms of the practicality that these policies carry and, in the case of a lack of policies, also negative.
