Several times, "Pamphlet" has warned of the postponement of the court hearings against the former minister Fatmir Mediu, as a defendant with two charges of abuse of office, with the lifting orders and the activity of the "Berisha-Delijorgji" factory in Gërdec.
Even on June 22, at the request of SPAK prosecutors, allegedly to get to know the names of family members who will be called as witnesses for the consequences of Gërdec, the judicial body postponed the hearing again, to July 7.
But according to the preliminary information we have, the hearing will be postponed on July 7 with a fabricated reason, and will be scheduled for the first week of September, because according to the legal status, SPAK prosecutors and special judges, on July 15, the 45 days begin of annual leave.
The trial against Fatmir Mediu for Gërdec has been postponed 15 times, of which 10 times only in the first 6 months of 2023, even 3 times after the end of the investigation and the decision of the judicial body to grant the claim.
The reasons for the postponement of all hearings are fabricated and have created the belief that they were a joint game between the lawyers, prosecutors of SPAK and members of the judiciary, to delay the trial in favor of Fatmir Mediu.
Our sources of information have informed us that by order of political leaders; SPAK and the Special Court have agreed to drag out the trial against him endlessly with procedures and postponement of hearings.
Seeing the procrastination of the process and referring to the statement of Minister Ulsi Manja, that at the end of 2023 there will be a criminal amnesty, the question is logically asked: - Is the postponement of the trial a bargain between SPAK, the Special Court and political leaders, that Fatmir Mediu escape with amnesty?
We specify that SPAK and the Special Court, with the deliberate summoning of 290 witnesses of Gërdec, violated the Code of Criminal Procedure, because after the claim, the investigation and the trial are called closed and the decision had to be given, since other evidence and testimonies are not accepted. / Pamphlet
